Our Japanese Sencha Kakagawa green tea comes from the Kagoshima prefecture, where our sencha is traditionally rooted. A cup is characterized by a light, smooth cup with reasonable depth. An incredibly rich green tea with a slight matcha note. The clean and comforting full experience of this tea makes it a wonderful morning tea, and is valued for its naturally calming effects from naturally-occuring amino acids. 
 
Perfect for equal energy throughout the day, and easily enjoyed on its own. We recommend enjoying this tea when studying or needing focus, as its unique and full aroma can be quite grounding without the intensity of high-caffeine from black teas. 
 
We recommend one slightly heaping teaspoon per pot of tea with 2-3 minutes of steeping. Depending on your strength preference, you may want to steep for up to 7 minutes.
